Silvers Rayleigh, also known as the Dark King, is an extremely powerful and famous retired pirate.

He previously served as second in command to the legendary Pirate Roger, being known as the Right Hand of the Pirate King.  

He is one of the major figures, along with Whitebeard, Shiki, Monkey D. Garp, Sengoku, Tsuru and Kong, during Gol D. Roger's time as Pirate King.

Rayleigh is an older man, relatively tall, with a very muscular build and tanned skin.

Two of his most distinctive features are his round glasses and his facial hair, which is arranged in a stick shape on his lower jaw.

Rayleigh has a scar above her right eye that she has had for many years.
