Bayonetta is an ass-kicking, wreaking witch, and she'll shoot, whip, slash, and burn angels as she discovers the truth about her own past.

Her weapons and moves are all stylistically exaggerated, but she can also dodge attacks to slow down time and inflict torture attacks on her enemies.

This is the prequel to Bayonetta 2, and it's every bit as daring, destructive, and epic as you'd expect.

Bayonetta is the fashionable and foxy offspring of a witch Shadow and a sage Lumen, and she lost her memory after sleeping at the bottom of a lake for 500 years.

Use Wicked Weaves to summon Infernal Demons, dodge dangerous enemy attacks to slow down time, and punish angels with deadly devices.

You can even dress up Bayonetta in four Nintendo-themed costumes - Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Link and Samus Aran.

Bayonetta 2 also features a 2-player online and local wireless co-op mode where players bet halos on their performance and work together to boost their shenanigans, wreak havoc and earn some riches.

- Each chapter ends with a medal ranking: Stone, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Pure Platinum. The more skilled you are, the higher your ranking.
- This game is accessible to players of all skill levels with three difficulty settings.
