Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs: When Flint Lockwood's (Bill Hader) latest invention accidentally destroys the town square and rises into the clouds, he thinks his career as an inventor is over. Then something amazing happens, as delicious cheeseburgers start raining from the sky. His car actually works!

In the film, a documentary crew will take audiences behind the scenes and on the waves during the most competitive, grueling and dangerous surfing demonstration known to man, the Penguin World Surfing Championship.

- Flint Lockwood (Hader) is a rather unsuccessful amateur scientist who seems to have developed a device that will end world hunger.
- Unfortunately, his invention, which makes it rain food from the sky, ends up causing more trouble than good, as his town is flooded with more food than people know what to do with.
- Flint and weather girl Sam (Faris) must try to find out what happened and save the town from disaster.
- In "Open Season" (2006), a domesticated grizzly bear, Boog (Martin Lawrence), is lured away from the comforts of home by a fast-talking mule deer named Elliott (Ashton Kutcher) and gets lost in the woods with just three days before the start of the hunting season.
- Forced to fend for themselves in the great outdoors, Boog becomes a native, gathering all the animals in the forest to reclaim their home and send the hunters out for a ride.
- In "Surf's Up" (2007), Cody Maverick (Shia LeBeouf) is a young penguin who dreams of winning the biggest penguin surfing competition of the year: the World Penguin Surfing Championship.
- The pursuit of this goal becomes the subject of choice for a team of documentary filmmakers who go behind the scenes of the competition and interview Cody, his friends and surfing fans along the way.
