Captured and imprisoned in Glaive Castle, our hero is forced to fight for his life against monsters every day. Seeing his fellow gladiators mercilessly killed one after another, he bides his time looking for an opening and flees the arena through the monster gate.



After he managed to escape, he heads to a nearby chasm, looking at a waterfall near the castle, but he overhears a clandestine meeting between Julius and the Dark Lord. Betraying his presence, he is thrown into the river below and loses consciousness.



Upon awakening, our hero roams unknown lands until he meets the heroine of the story, saving her from a monstrous attack. Discovering that she is looking for a man named Bogard and having no goals of her own, he decides to accompany her on her journey.
