After 14 years, Donkey Kong Country is back with an all-new adventure only on Wii! Donkey Kong makes his triumphant return to his running and jumping roots in a new adventure!

The Donkey Kong Country series comes to life on Wii in a luxurious environment that will have you running left to right, hunting high and dropping back to spill over eight worlds in search of hidden coins, puzzle pieces and stolen bananas.

Diddy Kong joins the adventure with his own moves, special combo abilities and a two-series co-op mode. When playing alone, Donkey Kong carries Diddy Kong on his back, giving him a powerful jet powered by jumps.



The Wii Remote and Nunchuk controls put the brute force of a great ape in the palms of your hands. Shake the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to grope the ground, stunning enemies, demolishable objects, and activating explosive switches.

A quick move in time sends Donkey Kong rolling through lines of enemies. Grab and throw objects and hang on to the vines on walls and ceilings and you'll fly through the scenes like a true king of the jungle.

Controlled by a group of evil Tikis, the animals of Donkey Kong Island have attacked Donkey Kong's Banana Hoard and stolen his supply of bananas - and Donkey Kong wants them back, understandably so.

Retro Studios brings back Donkey Kong™ in a new side-scrolling adventure featuring familiar characters and new levels that rekindle the passion players had for the original on the Super NES™.



Characteristics:

- For the first time in the franchise, two people can play together at the same time - one as Donkey Kong, the other as Diddy Kong.
- Players can go through levels separately or as a single unit. Diddy Kong can ride on Donkey Kong's back and jump off of him whenever he wants, allowing novice players to ride on Donkey Kong's back through the more difficult areas of the game.
- Hidden objects, puzzle pieces and other surprises are found all over the jungle. Find the letters K-O-N-G by the end of each level to earn an extra bonus.
- Motion controls give players a real sense of control. Players move Donkey Kong with the Control Stick on the Nunchuk™ controller and can shake the Wii Remote™ controller to make Donkey Kong smash the ground.
- Vibrant colors, beautiful graphics and funny characters attract players. Even those who have never played a Donkey Kong game before can get their hands on a controller and start collecting loads of bananas.
- Each level offers new fun and new challenges. Sometimes Donkey Kong runs through the jungle, sometimes the action takes place on a tropical beach, and sometimes he has to become a master of timing while jumping over chasms in a cart.
