Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories /PS2

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is an action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and Rockstar Leeds and published by Rockstar Games.

The game is a prequel to Grand Theft Auto III, so the action takes place in Liberty City, the same fictional city in GTA III inspired by New York, but three years earlier, in 1998.

The protagonist this time is Toni Cipriani, a respected member of the Leone Family who originally appeared in GTA III as a character giving Claude missions.



Characteristics:

- The game's story captures Toni's return to Liberty City after a long absence and his rise through the ranks within the Leone Mafia Family.
- Also outlines the background for some of GTA III's characters, gangs and locations.
- Unlike GTA III, motorcycles are usable in the game.

- Liberty City Stories features ten radio stations featuring a mix of licensed music and tracks created specifically for the game, and radio talk shows.
- Salvatore comes to the conclusion that Massimo Torini organized the war between the families and rigged the election, and now he will try to kidnap Mayor O'Donovan.
- Although the city is very similar to its version in GTA III, it also incorporates some elements found in its successors, such as more interior locations, more character costume options and motorcycles.
