The player takes over the role of the two pilots, Jack and Amelia, while trying to eliminate the Nazi aerial threat in a rich missions campaign, each with numerous goals and enemies, as well as secondary objectives.

The iron wings follow the story of two childhood friends who join the war in a special escalation of the air forces. Under the guidance of Colonel David Ruse, their goal is to locate and stop general Adler in front of "Ahnenerbe," a secret team of archaeologists and Nazis scientists.

Pilots will face aerial and terrestrial missions in New York, reconstructed in deep detail as in the 1940s and other US locations such as Black Canyon, to many of the true battlefields across Europe, from Sicily to Naples passing through Poland and Germany.
