The latest entry in the critically acclaimed action RPG series, Monster Hunter: World introduces a living ecosystem where players take on the role of a hunter.

Venture into missions alone or with up to three other hunters in a newly designed drop-in online multiplayer system that allows co-op play between Japan and the West.

Monster Hunter: World sees players equip themselves to venture out on missions to fight fearsome monsters, progressively improving their skills.



Loot collected from fallen enemies can be used to craft new equipment and armor upgrades.

The landscape and its diverse inhabitants play a pivotal role, with players strategically using the environment to their advantage.

Hunters must use their cunning and skill to survive intense and ever-evolving battles as they fight to become the ultimate hunter.



Characteristics:

- Taking on the role of a hunter, players are tasked with going on a research expedition to a newly discovered continent known only as the "new world"

- Use your environment and wildlife to your advantage.

- Pit monsters against each other to lure the main target creature to the right spot, but be careful not to trip over the dangers they pose

- For the first time in the Monster Hunter series, the latest title will be released within the same release window and will unite hunters around the world with co-op play options



- When the battle is too daunting to fight alone, call up to three other hunters to help you during missions

- A variety of ferocious creatures populate the new worldscape, including series mainstay Rathalos and the new Anjanath

- Players can ride monsters using the dynamic riding mechanic, allowing them to move along the monster's body and deal location damage
