Aihama, Japan. The last years of the Edo period. On a rainy evening, a group of men raid the umbrella shop run by the town's brother and sister.

Yushin is destroyed in front of his sister Yui, leaving her alone in the world. The next thing he knows, he's staring down at his own corpse - a disembodied soul.

The sinister incident shatters the tranquility of this quiet town. On the surface lurks a complicated, deep-rooted plot, shrouded in mystery.



Until Yui is safe, not even death is enough to quench Yushin's soul.

He will stop at nothing in his quest, going from body to body, possessing anyone and anything to save his sister.

But with only seven days before his soul leaves this world, will he be able to save Yui in time?

This is a story of rain, reincarnation and revenge.

- Counteraction using the sword technique of the Usetsu Tensei sword style: In which Yushin, mastering the key to battles, uses the technique known as "Misty Riposte". By countering the opponent's attacks, significant damage is dealt as part of a counter.
