In 2006, the R8 was introduced as Audi's first mid-engine commercial supercar. The exterior features a large rear wing and the interior has a roll cage to strengthen the body.
The drive system adopts the company's specialty quattro (4-wheel drive) and is highly rated as a supercar that doesn't care about the driver or the road conditions.
The R8 LMS achieved more than 100 victories in various races and won more than 40 titles, often being called the most successful production racing car in history.
Hot Wheels has recreated the iconic car for car and racing fans (GT World Challenge, Super GT, DTM) in a display model.
