Our two heroes, Asterix and Obelix, hunt boars, smithy and fish fight and the village chief walks around the village square on top of his shield.

One day, the village druid, Getafix, receives a strange letter. It is from Avina Gandir, high priestess of Thule.

She warns the druid of a grave threat to his people and asks him to retrieve the mysterious Menhir from its hiding place.
