Before what remained of the mortal realm was ravaged beyond repair, a "Warrior of the Gods" was chosen by each faction to fight on their behalf.

One day, Cyan, a young man living a quiet life in a small village, discovers that he has been chosen as the "Warrior of Chaos".

Along with a cruel fate, Cyan sets out with Elise and Zantis, two companions forced to guide him, on a journey to save the world...and defy the gods.

As Cyan, a young man burdened with the mantle of the Warrior of Chaos and an inevitable clash with the Warrior of Order as the proxy of the gods, players will embark on a grand adventure to defy fate and save Trinitia.

Cyan and his companions Elise and Zantis are accompanied by strange creatures known as Triggers, which can transform into eight types of weapons, and players can freely switch between the three characters to implement a solo battle strategy or team up with up to two friends for locals.

Trinity Trigger features worldbuilding by Yuki Nobuteru (Trials of Mana) and brings together an all-star developer team including character designer Raita Kazama (Xenoblade), screenwriter Yura Kubota (OCTOPATH TRAVELER) and composers Hiroki Kikuta (Trials of Mana) and Yuki Nobuteru (Trials of Mana).
