When he was still young, Grim Creeper attended the prestigious Grim Asser School of Spiritual Combat in hopes of becoming an apprentice.

When Master Dread interviewed him, he discovered that Grim had had a very different preliminary training than the other apprentices.

This was the reason why it was rejected. Grim was about to leave when a horde of unleashed ghosts suddenly invaded the school, taking all the teachers with them, leaving the students alone.

The Grim Creeper fought for what he deserved. Not only did he protect the other students, but he used his special talents to defeat the ghosts and keep them at bay until help arrived.

Grim is now a Skylander and is known as one of the best undead scythe wielders in Skylands.

Thus, he is living proof that you don't need an education to be brave, passionate and a true hero.
