- The master detectives who investigate with Yuma have special abilities. Forensic powers such as Postcognition and Disguise can be used to find hidden evidence and testimony.
- As the investigation progresses, the Maze of Mysteries will appear, a realm where the mysteries of a case materialize. Mysteries will take the form of various tricks and traps.
- In the Labyrinth of Mysteries, Ghosts of Mysteries will appear to prevent Yuma from getting to the bottom of a case.
