Red Faction: Guerrilla /PS3

Set 50 years after the climactic events of the original Red Faction, Red Faction: Guerrilla allows players to take on the role of an insurgent fighter within the recently re-established Red Faction movement as they fight for freedom from the oppressive Earth Defense Force.

Red Faction: Guerrilla redefines destruction-based gameplay with a huge open world, fast-paced guerrilla-style combat, and real physics-based destruction.

Use guerrilla tactics, improvised weaponry and modified vehicles to lead insurgent attacks on EDF targets.



Characteristics:

- Use guerilla tactics, improvised weaponry and modified vehicles to lead insurgent attacks on EDF targets.
- Launch attacks based on your own playstyle, complete missions in any order you want, or engage in destructive activities to weaken the EDF's grip on Mars.
- Use destruction to your tactical advantage by setting up ambushes or chain reaction explosions to attack enemy strongholds and permanently alter the game environment.
- Take advantage of fully dynamic physics-based destruction to improvise on the fly: punch holes in a wall or floor to set up an ambush or escape.



- Make your way through an ever-changing landscape as you improvise combat tactics, mixing playstyles, vehicles, weapons and explosives to defeat the EDF.
- Explore the vast and unforgiving Martian landscape, from the desolate mining outpost of Parker to the glittering capital of EDF Eos.
- Traverse fully destructible open world environments where EDF forces, Red Faction resistance fighters and oppressed settlers are caught in the crossfire.
- There's nowhere to hide when you put your guerrilla fighting skills to the test in a variety of highly destructive multiplayer battle modes.
