Yue is a young boy born in a mountain altar in Utsuwa.
One day, he participates in the winter festival with his childhood friend, a black fox named Kurrogitsune.
The lanterns burn in bright red, and people buzz.
As Yue sees the outer world for the first time in his life, he meets two mysterious boys.
Upon returning to the mountain, the owner of the altar, Mikoto, tells him: "Prepare the table"!
Student at Utsuwa High School, lives with his younger father and sister.
He has a rather mature personality for his age and is a bigger son.
Both he and Yue seem to remember something about each other ...
