- After Kirby eats a mysterious fluffy tomato, he finds himself in an unknown world where everything is made of nature!
- He soon notices trouble and saves a young boy being chased by a monster.
- This boy turns out to be Prince Fluff, the prince of Patch Land, who tells his rescuer about Yin-Yarn, the evil wizard who split the land into seven pieces and took Kirby away from home.
- To help his new friend, Kirby agrees to help fix the kingdom and kick that nasty magician's ass!



- Embark on a merry journey through the various locales of Patch Land and save the world with the help of Kirby's yarn skills.
- Use the Yarn Whip to unlock hidden areas and untangle enemies, transform into gigantic woolly creations and collect glowing beads as you help Kirby knit the land together again.
- Play two all-new mini-games featuring familiar faces from Dream Land, King Dedede and Meta Knight.
