Transformers Revenge of the Fallen -PS3

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, based on the upcoming live-action film from DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures in association with Hasbro.

It allows players to take on the role of their favorite AUTOBOTS or DECEPTICONS, choosing from the largest and most diverse range of playable Transformers - each with distinct abilities and weapons.

Set in unique environments across the globe such as Cairo and Shanghai, the game allows players to instantly switch from vehicle mode to robot mode as they drive, fly, fight and blast their way through intense and pressure-filled levels.

After getting into the single player action, for the first time players will be able to go online and battle with friends in all-new multiplayer modes.



Characteristics:

- Set several years after Megatron's defeat in the first game/movie, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen reveals that the Decepticon threat is, in fact, far from over.
- Since the end of the first movie, Decepticons have started to reappear all over Earth. They are searching for a mysterious object in space that will tip the balance of power.
- The game is a linear third-person shooter that puts the player in control of many of the main characters from the film, switching from an Autobot to a Decepticon faction.
- The story is told through cutscenes that also allow the player to easily switch between characters. Playable characters from the Autobot side include: Optimus Prime, Iron Hide, Jetfire, Bumblebee.



- The Decepticon side includes: Starscream, Sideways (a new character) and Megatron.
- Although the game does not allow transformation anywhere the player wants, transformation has been introduced as special attacks during robot mode, as fixed alternate game modes, and in both robot and vehicle modes as special moves that give the player alternate abilities.
- For example, transforming as Starscream while flying will allow him to fly backwards as a robot to take out enemies behind the protagonist.
- In terms of multiplayer, at any time during the single-player campaign, a friend can join as a "Remote Weapon System", which allows them to fire at enemies, raise a shield to defend themselves, and transfer energon between both players.
