Devil May Cry is the game that started it all, with a mature and understated Dante that matched the atmosphere and pace of the game's sense of isolation during exploration sequences and punch-hard boss fights.

With Devil May Cry 2 taking place after the events of the first Devil May Cry, this sequel strives for a more cinematic look and feel to the battles by changing things up in terms of how the camera behaves.

But also taking extreme care to make the animations more natural and fluid. Additionally, you can unlock and play as Trish, who has her own unique weapons and moveset.

Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition focuses on the origins of our favorite hunter of dark beings, this prequel features a much younger and looser Dante who cares very little about how much damage he does.

- Devil May Cry 2 takes place many years after the first game. This installment introduces the ability to run along walls, the ability Rain Storm and more, giving Dante even more freedom to defeat enemies in style
