Arion Sherwind and his famous football teammates are back on a new adventure, but all is not as it should be at Raimon Junior High.

Arion finds himself in a world devoid of football and must unravel his mysterious disappearance and reclaim his place in the world.

Travel back in time and create an eleven to bring back football in Inazuma Eleven Go Chrono Stones: Thunderflash, released for Nintendo 3DS and 2DS systems.

- The story begins with Arion Sherwind shocked to discover that Raimon Junior High's legendary football exploits are suddenly unknown.
- Where mighty football stadiums once stood, baseball fields now stand.
- Inazuma Eleven Go 2 takes place right after the Holy Road games.
- Hero Matsukaze Tenma has returned from teaching soccer to children in Okinawa.
- However, when he returns to Raimon High School, the soccer club has disappeared. It's not disbanded, the students told him the club didn't exist in the first place.
- In this alternate time frame, his friends, and Matsukaze himself, were recruited into other clubs.
- In order to revive the club, Matsukaze must face the mysterious Alpha boy, who has claimed that he will completely usurp football from Matsukaze's life.
- Recruit different characters, face different enemies and summon different avatar beasts in Neppu and Raimei.
- Even the music themes in these two games are different.
