Mad World (BBFC) /Wii

Set in a sleek, monochrome black-and-white world, Mad World is a game that combines the look of graphic novels with fully realized, next-gen environments.

And the city of Varrigan is where the game takes place. It is a city that has been seized by terrorists and turned into their sports arena; where "destroy or be destroyed" is the only rule.

Welcome to Death Watch.... As players battle enemies, they must master the use of various weapons and objects found in their environment, such as chains and street signs, and compete in mini-games designed to push players over the edge.

With irrevocable humor and over-the-top violence, the crazy world offers a visceral gaming experience that will be an instant classic on the Wii.



Characteristics:

- In a minigame called "Man Darts", players must hit enemies on a giant board of darts with a baseball bat to score points.[
- The player controls Jack from a third-person perspective, using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk attachment for attacks and movement,
- Most levels are open environments, allowing the player to explore them freely, although some sections of the level may require the player to earn a number of points before they are accessible
- A common feature of each of these levels is the "Bloodbath Challenge", a time-limited minigame that rewards the player for completing a certain type of activity with extra points.
- Madworld has highly stylized graphics that use a limited color palette with a high contrast of black and white with red, partially inspired by Frank Miller's Sin City graphic novels
- Several levels feature motorcycle-based combat where the main character, Jack, is assaulted by enemies as they race on a track or in a small arena.
- The number of points for defeating enemies increases by increasing the power of the enemy or by using more unusual methods to win.
