Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (Essentials) /PSP

Japan's most successful PSP title, Monster Hunter Portable 2G, is heading to North America next spring.

Renamed Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, this latest installment in the epic Monster Hunter series offers over 500 hours of gameplay spanning around 400 missions.

Add in previously unreleased monsters, weapons and quests and you have the biggest Monster Hunter game yet.



Using the PSP's wireless Ad-Hoc connection, players can venture out with up to three friends for a wild multiplayer hunting party.

From strategizing to executing the attack, players will have to work together to hunt the ferocious animals and progress through the wide range of quests on offer.

Players will be rewarded for using deep combat systems, encouraging them to seek out more experienced hunters and join the team to learn from their experience.

- Players accompanied on quests by your gentle ally will help them fight monsters and collect additional resources.
- A wide variety of character customizations, including 1500 weapons and 2000 armor sets.
- Players can form a team of up to 4 players through Ad-Hoc gameplay and experience the phenomenon of multiplayer social gaming.
- With the "Felyne Casting" feature, players can share their companions with other players by transferring data using the PSP's idle mode.
- Media installation option where players can save the game to a memory stick, allowing the game to load from the memory stick and UMD simultaneously for faster load times.
