Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is a dark and vivid new reimagining of the Castlevania mythology.

It's the end of days and evil powers isolate the Earth, you are Gabriel Belmont, a member of the Brotherhood of Light, armed with the Battle Cross to defend the living and destroy the enemies.

Throughout this broken land, the souls of the dead wander unable to find peace, while creatures of evil wreak havoc and death on the living.



His beloved wife was brutally murdered by the evil forces of darkness, and her soul was trapped for eternity.

Neither alive nor dead, she realizes the terrible truth of the stake and guides Gabriel to his destiny and, hopefully, to saving the world.

The worlds alliance with the heavens has been threatened by a dark and evil force the mysterious Lords of Shadow, while creatures of evil cause chaos and death among the living.
