Fracture takes players to the year 2161, where the effects of global warming have altered the planet's landscape.

And a clash of ideologies regarding human improvement places society on the brink of war.

Utilizing the core gameplay mechanics of Fracture, a state-of-the-art destructive technology known as Terrain Deformation.

Players are equipped with an arsenal of futuristic weapons to strategically reshape the environment on the fly.

- When Brody throws a tectonic grenade on a flat battlefield, the ground explodes upwards, providing access to otherwise inaccessible areas or providing cover against oncoming enemies.
- Surrounded on all sides by Pacifican forces, Brody throws a vortex grenade, creating a tornado-like swirling mass of boulders, dirt and debris to expel his enemies.
