Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings is the 19th episode of the main Atelier series and is the final episode of the "Mysterious" trilogy sub-series.

Takes place after the events of Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book and Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey.

In the latest entry, players follow the story of the alchemist twins; Lydie Marlen, reserved but caring, and Suelle Marlen, eccentric and carefree.



They both work alongside their father in the family workshop, but due to his lack of experience in alchemy, they rarely see customers.

As they work hard to perfect their skills, they discover a mysterious-looking painting and are drawn into a world full of materials perfect for alchemy.

This fateful discovery is only the beginning of the two twins' adventure, which will lead them to their common goal of running the best workshop in the country.

- Use the new and improved Synthesis system to refine your alchemy skills as you work towards the goal of running the best Workshop in the land
- For the first time, players can synthesize items during battle, allowing them to strategically choose battle options that can turn the tide of battle
- Characters will pair up in battle, allowing one of them to take the "front" and strike, while the "back" character will act as a support and move quickly to defend their partner
- Players will be able to take different routes in the game, leading to several different endings
