Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow adds many new features to the series to make it radically different from previous titles.

The story takes place in the near future, 2035, and the hero is a high school student named Soma Cruz, who was about to witness the first solar eclipse of the 21st century, who suddenly passed out and who, after waking up, found himself in the interior of a mysterious castle.

During the adventure you can collect and wield more weapons and you can also acquire the soul of enemies to get more than 100 powerful new attacks and abilities.

It is also possible to trade enemy souls with friends via the link cable.
