Dead Cells puts you in control of a failed alchemical experiment, trying to figure out what's going on on a sprawling, ever-changing, seemingly cursed island. Tough but fair combat, responsive controls, challenging enemies, permadeath and of course the emergency panic role to get you out of trouble make for a demanding, visceral and cathartic action game.

Experience a Roguevania, mixing an interconnected world, branching paths and unlockable abilities with the constant adrenaline threat of permadeath. No checkpoints. You either defeat the final boss in one shot, or you try again. However, keep some of your progress for successive runs; new paths you've unlocked, access to new levels, mutations, abilities and weapons.



Speaking of weapons, Dead Cells offers plenty of ways to kill your enemies. A wide variety of swords, bows and of course spells, but also whips, grenades and turrets, each with its own unique twist. Additionally, mutations and scrolls allow you to build and customize your character differently with each run.

At the end of the day, however, YOUR skills as a player matter the most! Roguelites want to constantly sharpen their skills, until what was an insurmountable obstacle becomes a walk in the park. Be patient, you will get better! ... in the end.

Non-linear progression: sewers, ossuary or ramparts? Once unlocked, permanent permanent abilities allow you to access new paths to achieve your goal. Opt for the path that suits your current build, your playstyle, or just your mood.

Exploration: secret rooms, hidden passages, enchanting landscapes. Take a moment to walk the towers and breathe in the air infused with fresh sea mist...
