However, Horizon: Zero Dawn has nothing in common with Guerilla's previous titles, being an open world action game with many RPG elements.

The story in Horizon combines SF elements with prehistoric ones, human civilization disappearing somewhere in the distant future. The few remaining people have organized themselves into primitive tribes and live as they did thousands of years ago.

However, there is still a sign of long-gone technology: the fauna has been replaced by robotic creatures, and no one knows anything about their origins.



Horizon: Zero Dawn will be a single player game, in which we will have the opportunity to control Aloy, a young warrior, who, for her own survival, will have to unravel the mystery of this new world.

In a post-apocalyptic world where nature has reclaimed the ruins of a forgotten civilization, small groups of people live in tribes of hunters and farmers.

Domination over the wild has been usurped by the Machines - ferocious mechanical creatures of unknown origin.



Characteristics:

- Bunkers hold the secrets of the distant past – don't forget to use your Focus device to uncover clues and other objects.

- Tallnecks are patrol cars that can scale – with a little help from the environment.

- Collect at least three Sun Emblems – rewards for Hunting Ground Trials – to gain access to the Hunters' Lodge in Meridian.

- Bandit camps mean battles with large numbers of human enemies defending fortified positions.



- Lookouts are remnants of the distant past, abandoned in places with extraordinary views.

- Collectibles means metal flowers, Banuk figures and ancient vessels.

- Bunkers hold the secrets of the distant past – don't forget to use your Focus device to uncover clues and other objects.

- From the furnaces come the Machinery: they are automatic factories for making robots. If you manage to penetrate the center of a furnace, you can learn to hijack other types of Machinery in the world.
