Touhou Spell Carnival is an officially recognized derivative work based on the Touhou project.

Gensokyo is a land cut off from the outside world where humans and youkai live together.

One day, Hakurei shrine maiden Reimu Hakurei notices mysterious pillars towering over various locations in Gensokyo.



These pillars signaled the start of the Spell Carnival, a festival hosted by Yukari Yakumo where they must bring their spell cards into play in battle.

To investigate the true intentions of Yukari Yakumo, who so suddenly initiated the Spell Carnival, Reimu Hakurei joins the battle for the Spell Books.

- Track all active quests, revisit sub-events, pose with Photo Mode, and even talk to some of your favorite Touhou Project characters in Hakurei Shrine as you progress through the story.
