FINAL FANTASY X tells the story of a blitzball player, Tidus, who travels with a beautiful young summoner named Yuna.

In an attempt to save the world of Spira from an endless cycle of destruction caused by the colossal threat Sin.

FINAL FANTASY X-2 returns to the world of Spira two years after the beginning of Eternal Calm.

After being shown a mysterious yet familiar image in an orb, Yuna becomes an Orb Hunter and, along with her companions Rikku and Paine, sets out on a mission around the world.



Characteristics:

- Tidus is a young Blitzball star who mysteriously finds himself in Spira after his hometown of Zanarkand is destroyed by Sin a thousand years in the past.
- Believing Sin to be the key to returning home, Tidus joins a young summoner named Yuna on her pilgrimage to destroy Sin and bring back Calm.
- However, about a thousand years before the present day, a colossal threat known only as Sin appeared and destroyed everything in its path.
- Although a string of summoners have since taken down Sin multiple times, he inevitably returns in an endless cycle of destruction.
- In the face of this ever-present threat, the people of Spira have turned to the teachings of Yevon, who say that Sin is a punishment for those who have relied too much on the machine.
- It's been two years since Sin was destroyed.
