The Order: 1886 /PS4

Developed in tandem by Sony Santa Monica and Ready at Dawn Studios, The Order: 1886 is a new intellectual property exclusive to PlayStation 4.

Unveiled at Sony's E3 2013 conference, this visually stunning title, using state-of-the-art proprietary software, debuts the possibility of the new standard for action adventures to come.

The Order: 1886 creates a well-established universe assailed by the laws of its alternate history. Written by Kirk Ellis, best known for his work on HBO's critically acclaimed John Adams series, the plot is a unified concert of history, fantasy, mythology and science fiction.



During the advent of the 8th century, humanity is divided into two groups; humanity finds itself embroiled in a conflict against the "Mestizos" - a branch of humanity bearing savage properties that seeks to dominate and destroy in its war against humans.

This war continues into the 19th century, and here humanity fronts by forming the Order, a dedicated group of knights with origins in the Round Table who use a magical "Black Water" in combination with technologically advanced weapons.

With characters from all literary backgrounds, a potentially captivating story and solid gameplay proven by the developer's previous works, The Order: 1866 will reveal its amalgam of details with its long-awaited release in 2014.
