A prequel to the long-running series set in Japan's criminal underworld.

This entry features main protagonist Kazuma Kiryu and series regular Goro Majima as they battle like hell through Tokyo and Osaka in their rise through the ranks of the yakuza.



At its core, Yakuza 0 is a classic 3D brawler where players walking the streets of Tokyo or Osaka will encounter all kinds of gorillas, thugs, goons and good-for-nothings to beat up.

With an engaging combat system that allows players to instantly switch between 3 different fighting styles, Yakuza 0 offers players fluid, free-flowing combat that's easy to learn and a joy to master.

Level up the fight by using objects in the environment like bikes, traffic lights and car doors for bone-crushing combos and wild takedowns.



Characteristics:

- The story follows Kazuma Kiryu, a junior member of the yakuza, who finds himself in a world of trouble when a simple debt collection goes wrong and his target ends up murdered
- Meanwhile, Goro Majima lives a "normal" life as a cabaret club owner, but does his best to re-enter the yakuza. What this entails is not exactly easy
- Kiryu and Majima can each switch between three brutal hand-to-hand fighting styles to create the smoothest beatings ever experienced in a Yakuza game



- Use Heat Actions to unleash violent special attacks or pick up objects in the environment to attack enemies
- Kiryu and Majima will interact with many of the colorful residents of Tokyo and Osaka in some of the most absurdly comical and heartwarming red light stories
- From helping a budding S&M femdom learn her trade to making sure a street artist can make it to the bathroom in time, there are 100s of incredible stories to discover
