Up (Essentials) /PSP

Upis based on the animated film of the same name. Carl Fredericksen always wanted to be an adventurer, but he was never able to do so.

After his wife dies, he becomes depressed, but finally decides to experience adventures after all. He allows himself to be accompanied by scout Russel.

Most levels are played with two characters with different abilities: Carl can use his walking aid as a jump aid and crowbar, while Russel balances on small ledges, catches bugs or blinds enemies with his magnifying glass.



Characteristics:

- They are sometimes joined by the dog Dug, who can fit through small holes and swim.
- Levels are basic platforming stages with many puzzles that need all these skills to solve.
- Of course this can also be played in co-op, the diversion is brought by a few levels of flying a biplane.

- There are more levels, additional mini-games, such as a raft trip where the player must avoid crocodiles, the story is told with real sequences from the movie, and there are more unlockable extras, for example, cheats.
- Both players' characters earn additional gadgets during the game, which can be used to reach new areas in the levels already passed.
- The multiplayer modes are also different: this version lacks the four-player simultaneous flight duels, but there are two two-player variants and six other mini-games that can be played as a four-player tournament.
