Burnout Legends (Essentials) /PSP

The first installment of the Burnout series on portable consoles combines the best features of the first three games: Burnout, Burnout 2: Point of Impact and Burnout 3: Takedown.

Aggressive racing is still the central attraction of Burnout Legends, and the player's task is not only to win the races, but also to damage the opponent's cars as much as possible.

Opponent takeoffs, drifts and other stunts award Burnout points which in turn unlock new cars and other prizes.



The single-player games can be played as single events or as a World Tour where the player must compete in and succeed in various races to advance through five car classes (Compact, Muscle, Coupe, Sport and Super).

Additionally, there is Crash mode, where the goal is to create as many wrecks as possible by throwing the player's car into traffic.

The different race types include Race, Time Attack, Road Rage, Pursuit, Face Off, Eliminator, Burning Lap and Grand Prix.

- The PSP version's game sharing feature allows others to play multiplayer events.
- Single player demos without having your own UMD Burnout Legends.
- The DS version's Multi-Pak support allows for two-player games without additional game cards.
- Games with more than two players require more playing cards.
- The biggest modes including the legendary Road Rage and Crash.
- The most aggressive and destructive racing experience on PSP Pursuit Mode: A dizzying game of cat and mouse Game.
