The world has fallen into darkness, and the Silk fairy goes in search of help. She meets a young witch named Nata de Cotton, who seems rather uninterested in helping her.

That is until Silk tells her that there are some giant Willows waiting for her on the way, a candy that Cotton has an enormous appetite for, so the two set off to find out what is the cause of the darkness... or look for the Willows!

Cotton 100% was released in 1994 and is based on the original Cotton: Fantastic Night Dreams. It offers a new, stunning and fresh look with the more vibrant color palette of the Super Famicom.



Characteristics:

- The player is tasked with going through seven stages, fighting monsters and collecting the gems they drop, while trying to survive with a limited number of continues.
- Cotton starts with three lives by default, losing one each time she is hit, additional lives can be gained with a maximum of 9 which can be set in the options menu.
- She can use a selection of attacks to fight enemies she encounters, with the power of her attacks changing with a simple leveling system.
- Cotton Shot - a standard bullet that can be fired at a rapid rate, increasing in power as crystals are collected and Cotton levels up.
- You have 3 magic uses, with more being collected from enemies or when a credit is used to continue.
- There are four difficulty options that are available in the game, separated into Easy, Normal, Hard and Mania.
