Dante's Inferno (Essentials) /PSP

Dante's Inferno is an epic single-player, third-person adventure game inspired by the first part of the famous poem "Divine Comedy" by Italian poet Dante Aligheri, called "Inferno".

The adaptation of the illustrious poem begins with the return of the mercenary Dante from the third crusade, to find his wife eliminated and his soul endangered due to the atrocities committed during the crusade.

Although the church authorities of the time had assured everyone that all their sins would be forgiven if they participated in the crusade.

This did not happen and Dante makes the terrible decision to fight to save his soul and takes the road to hell where he intends to escape his wife Beatrice.

The story behind the game is a classic one, impressive and well done.



Characteristics:

- The trials that the hero goes through are based on his choices between good and evil and the nine circles of hell (corresponding to capital sins and populated by illustrious characters of ancient history who were guilty of them) are reproduced with a fine artistic sense .
- On the game-play side, but also as a general note, those who loved the God of War series will feel at home, but in a good way, because although it is clear that the gameplay is inspired by GoW, the game has enough own elements that make it unique.
- Dante fights with the scythe taken from the hands of Death himself, but when needed, he also calls on the rays emitted by a cross he has from Beatrice or even puts control over the terrible monsters he meets in hell.
- The fights end with spectacular finishing moves that let you choose whether to "absolve" or "condemn" the respective soul, which gives you "soul points" of a certain kind.



- Influencing your subsequent development into a good knight or a vengeful one, each with its own separate tech-tree.
- The game has an epic dimension, it is very dynamic and the controls can be learned very quickly, being intuitive.
- Battles with level bosses take place according to the model of the series of buttons that must be pressed consecutively to perform certain movements.
- An interesting part of the game is the codex which contains explanations and descriptions of the illustrious characters met in the game - real quick lessons of very interesting mythology.
