DECEPTION IV: BLOOD TIES follows the story of Laegrinna, an animated fragment of the soul of an imprisoned villain, as she battles her enemies by viciously luring them into strategically placed traps.

From rolling boulders and spiked walls to springboards, iron maidens, human cannons, falling tubs and banana peels, the player can choose from a multitude of dramatic, sadistic and comedic traps to finish off an enemy.



However, simply placing traps is not enough, as they must be activated in turn. Timing also plays a role, as a premature activation could cause Laegrinna to fall into her own trap or allow her rivals to capture her.

Depending on how an enemy is defeated or captured, the villain's three minions - Veruza, Caelea and Lilia reward points and upgraded traps.
