Play professional soccer your way in EA SPORTS FIFA Soccer 09. Play in one of two modes in a Wii-specific take on the classic 11 vs. simulation. 11' or over-the-top arcade action with Wii versions of your favorite soccer superstars.

Choose the style of play that best suits your abilities, from advanced controls for experienced players to the new EA SPORTS All-Play, which lets new players focus on having fun using simplified AI-assisted controls.

Experienced players can access in-depth controls with refined gestures and a precision pass system and point-and-play control. You can even use a Classic controller or a Nintendo GameCube controller.

- Refined gestures, point-and-play controls with on-screen swipe indicators and one-button actions.
- 8 vs 8 Footii Match Mini-Game an arcade version of football. Match your team with your Mii characters led by one of the FIFA 09 cover athletes created as custom characters.
- Play with Mii, Ronaldinho, Rooney or other stars in a simultaneous shooting frenzy. Eliminator mode allows up to four friends to play simultaneously.
- Table football several balls at the same time, including a powerful ball that moves like a rocket or a hidden ball that turns invisible at any time.
- All-Play: A simplified control system using only the Wii Remote allows new players to focus on the fun while the console does the rest.
