US Army war hero and current SHIELD super spy and elite agent, Nick Fury is one of the most influential characters in the Marvel Universe.
Fury became a CIA agent and became the overall commander of SHIELD, reporting directly to the President of the United States of America.
Portrayed by renowned actor Samuel L. Jackson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, his first appearance was in the post-credit scene of Iron Man (2008).
After further brief appearances, in The Avengers (2012), Fury was responsible for forming the group to deal with the threat of Loki.
In Spider-Man: Far From Home, Fury recruits Peter Parker, vacationing in Europe with his class, to fight the Elementals alongside Mysterio, who later attempts to attack Fury and Maria Hill in London.
