As part of an invasion force looking for new worlds for the symbiotes to conquer and feed on, the creature and Brock end up forming a deep bond and together they decide to help protect Earth from the invading alien species.

After the mission ends, they both remain secretly connected and pledge to protect the city by eliminating the villains.
