Otto Octavius, also known as Doctor Octopus, is a major character in Marvel's Spider-Man series.
He is the main antagonist, alongside Mister Negative, in Marvel's Spider-Man and a minor character in Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
A brilliant scientist with expertise in prosthetics, Octavius has built a neural interface capable of controlling robotic arms.
Octavius co-founded the megacorporation Oscorp with Norman Osborn, before parting ways over disagreements over GR-27.
He founded Octavius Industries, where he developed prosthetic limb technology with the help of his employee Peter Parker.
