Funko Pop Deluxe Star Wars The Mandalorian S10 Grogu (IG-12) #720 16cm

The IG-12 was a refurbished mech created by a team of Anzellani droidologists from the parts of the assassin droid IG-11.

After the droid sacrificed itself by self-destructing during the Showdown on Nevarro, some of its remains were collected, including the droid's damaged memory circuit.

IG memory circuits, which were no longer manufactured by the time of the New Republic, were very hard to find at the time, and the IG-11 could not be repaired.

However, the Anzellans restructured the droid into IG-12, a body that could only be operated manually, and reprogrammed it with "yes" and "no" responses.

It was given to Grogu by High Magistrate Greef Karga, despite the reluctance of Din Djarin, who believed that Grogu was too young to operate heavy machinery.
