In Haunting Ground, players take on the role of Fiona Belli, an 18-year-old girl, the sole survivor of a tragic car accident that took away both of her parents.

When she regains consciousness from the accident, she finds herself trapped in an old and unknown castle with no clear way out.

As she makes her way through the disturbing surroundings, she meets a series of strange inhabitants and learns that she has become the heir to the mysterious castle after the death of her parents.

Fiona also meets Debilitas, a deformed and disturbed man who relentlessly pursues her.

Fortunately, she meets a white sheepdog named Hewie, who has also been trapped in the castle.

Rescuing him from the shackles that imprison him, an instant bond is formed.

This chilling survival horror game is set in a mysterious castle that has become a prison for two innocent characters - a young orphan girl and a white shepherd dog.

They must use each other's strengths if they hope to escape their horrific surroundings.

Haunting Ground combines a compelling atmosphere of terror and loneliness with challenging puzzles and a unique approach to gameplay.

- Realistic Canine Model - Hewie was created using motion capture and studying a real dog to convey true in-game behavior and movements.

- Players must cleverly hide behind objects to escape enemies and use nearby objects to solve puzzles.
- In order to provide the right sense of fear and a haunting atmosphere, Takenaka, a Japanese director and actor, was recruited to handle the scenes in the game.
