Hot Wheels Premium Boulevard Vehicle Ford Transit Supervan (HRT76)

Hot Wheels' chosen motif is based on the second generation Transit, which was produced between 1965 and 1978, and is a so-called "hot rod version" produced by Ford of the UK to promote the car.

The car caused quite a stir when it was introduced at the Easter Meeting held at Brands Hatch in the UK in 1971. Although it was fitted with raised fenders and fat tyres, its tall van shape was exactly like a Transit.

However, what's surprising is what's inside: it uses the engine and chassis of the Ford GT40 racing car, famous for winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and is said to have a top speed of 270 km/h

This time, instead of using an actual vehicle, the car is finished with a custom paint job in the style that was popular in America in the 1970s.
