The adventure takes place in the deserts of Egypt, where it was recently discovered the Temple of Set. Set, the god of chaos, led Egypt in the past after he killed his brother Osiris and turned the other gods into slaves. But at one point, Egypt was not enough, so set went to the realm of death to form an army with which to conquer the whole world, but he never returned. The renowned explorer, Lara Croft, thought it would be the first to go into the temple, but the archaeologist Carter Bell reaches her. Each of them hoped to find Osiris's rod, but they found more than expected. Temple was once a prison in which Horus and Isis were held, the last two gods who did not subjected him to Set. Seeing the rod, Carter takes him out of a mechanism, releasing the two. Horus and Isis, in possession of the rod, will help Lara and Carter find Osiris, the only god that can save them from death and can defeat the set. In an attempt to discover the Osiris fragments and stopped the set, the comrades will have to form an alliance.
