Two Grom-class destroyers were built between 1935 and 1937 for the Polish Navy by J. Samuel White at Cowes - Blyskawica (Thunderbolt) and Grom (Thunderbolt).
They were two of the best armed and fastest destroyers used during World War II.
On display as a museum ship in Gdynia, Blyskawica is the oldest surviving destroyer in the world.
