In the year of our Lord 843, the first king of Scotland, Kenneth McAlpin, united the lands of the Picts and Scots to form the White Kingdom. 400 years later, Edward I, also known as the "Hammer of the Scots" swept the land in a great feud.

It wasn't long before Edward I controlled most of Scotland. The Scots, led by William Wallace and Robert the Bruce, are left to fight what appears to be a futile war for freedom. This is when legends are born.



The theme of the game is the Scottish battle for freedom against the English aggressor that took place during the time of William Wallace. Mass of atmosphere and detailed graphics, as well as an extensive combat system and economy mark the game.

Features such as changing seasons during a mission, castle buildings on mountains and the subsequent use of the 3D engine for tactical possibilities gave the RTS genre new impetus.
