Two of the most respected vertical shoot'em ups TAITO has ever released are coming to the West for a special HD collection.

Replay the sequel and prequel to RayForce-RayStorandRayCrisis- both with polygon-based 3D graphics instead of sprites, and their respective HD versions, to relive the thrill of epic battles in outer space and cyberspace.



Set in a cyberspace environment, RayCrisis marked a change in style from the rest of the series. The prequel to RayForce details the events of the time when the supercomputer called the Con-Human gained sentience and rebelled against its human creator.

As Earth is demolished to be remade into the Con-Human's new corporeal form, a cyberspace hacker launches a desperate assault to connect to the supercomputer's virtual core and end its madness.

It's up to you and the Waveriders to stop the malevolent AI from wreaking more havoc - even if it might be too late, at least you can make sure no more lives are lost in the real world by putting an end to the digital realm.



Set in a parallel universe, in RayStorm Earth and humanity have prospered enough to expand space colonies to Orion.

Unfortunately, the rebel colony Secilia overthrows the Earth-based Star Federation government and plans to destroy Earth and all the people on it.

To counter this, Earth sends a covertly developed fighter jet codenamed R-Gray (that's you dude) in hopes of penetrating Cecilia's atmosphere and destroying Cecilia's base of operations, the Juda Central Core .
