Daniel Sturridge (born 1 September 1989) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker.
On 6 November 2011, Sturridge received his first England call-up, being named in England's squad for friendlies against Spain and Sweden after excelling for Chelsea.
He was an unused substitute in a 1-0 win over Spain but Fabio Capello insisted Sturridge would play against Sweden the following Tuesday and he did, as he made his debut as a second-half substitute for Theo Walcott.
He made his second appearance against Holland in the first half for the injured Steven Gerrard and caused problems for the Dutch defense throughout the match and won the man of the match award for his efforts during the match.
Carefully crafted by hand for maximum equality with the original players, SoccerStarz are miniatures of real stars in pocket format.
