Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE (also known as Genei Ibunroku#FE and Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem in Japan) is a crossover RPG between Nintendo's Fire Emblem and Atlus' Shin Megami Tensei.
Stunning Fire Emblem-style character design, advanced battle system, newly added social link and texting programs, and a well-written in-depth story, this co-op game is sure to surprise us again.
Not only will players see plenty of popular Fire Emblem characters, but its modern Shin Megami Tensei-style gameplay revamped and adapted for Wii U.
The story sets the scene in modern Tokyo; just like many other metropolises around the world, a lot of passionate young people come to this city to follow their dreams.
Characteristics:
- Although it seems that they are not the only ones coming to this city, evil creatures called "Mirages" also roam Tokyo to steal "Performa" - a magical energy activated inside the human body when people perform an achievement and shine in their way
- Follow the main protagonist Itsuki Aoi and his friends to master these dangerous Mirages and achieve their stars as top artists.
- Players will also see a revamped Shin Megami Tensei-style turn-based battle system.
- In which players will have to carefully analyze the weakness of the enemies before each command round in order to massively unleash the "Session Attack" and kill the enemies once and for all.
- For Fire Emblem fans, expect to see Chrom, Virion and Tharja from Fire Emblem Awakening, Caeda, Cain, Draug and Navarre from Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light and even Tiki as they are involved in the story with essential roles.
- First proposed in 2010 by Nintendo's Kaori Ando, this crossover almost never came to fruition due to scheduling issues due to Atlus' workload.
- Fortunately, full production started in 2013, and as the project grew, more interesting factors joined.
- Not only does Tokyo Mirage Sessions have music production from Japanese entertainment giant Avex Group, accurate real-world references to real areas and popular cults such as Vocaloid software fill the game's universe.
- Also, due to the Japanese setting and aesthetic, the Western versions will use the original voice track with subtitles rather than a dub.
- Lauded in Japan by critics as a masterpiece, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE has even been hailed as one of the best recent RPGs, applauded for its evolution of the Megami Tensei battle system and story with a more Easy.
- A new ATLUS RPG inspired by the Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem franchises.
- Play to your strengths in high-energy turn-based battles against rogue enemies.
- Use your creative power to summon iconic Fire Emblem heroes to fight alongside them and save the city.
- Exploit enemies' weaknesses and destroy them with powerful, flashy, entertainment-themed attacks.
- Fusing items to create increasingly powerful weapons and abilities.
- Save your city and become a star in this RPG with exaggerated shamelessness.
